The 2nd Intensive School in Laser, Plasma & Fusion successfully took place in Budva, Montenegro, from 22 to 25 September 2025.

The School brought together MSc and PhD students in Physics and related fields for an exceptional scientific training experience focused on high-power lasers, plasma physics, and fusion energy. Participants benefited from a rich program of plenary lectures, specialized talks, and hands-on practical sessions, delivered by leading experts in the field.

Beyond the scientific content, the School fostered an atmosphere of collaboration and international exchange. Through group projects, discussions, and social activities, students had the opportunity to build networks and friendships across borders, strengthening the global community of young researchers in laser, plasma, and fusion science.

The organizers would like to thank all lecturers, mentors, and participants for their enthusiasm and contributions, which made this event a resounding success.

Thank you all for your interest in participating in our intensive school. 

We received many applications and had to select a number of participants to match the school's capacity. The selection process has been completed and all the applicants have been notified by email whether they have been selected to participate in this year's school. To those who were not selected this time, we hope to have the opportunity to welcome them at our future events. 

We also received numerous email requests for scholarships. The assignment of the limited number of available scholarships has been completed. All email requests have been reviewed, and applicants have been individually notified of the outcome.
